The uniqueness of Destin Pointe comes from both its central location and the large area of natural unspoiled beach and jetties.  The beautiful Gulf beach is available for sunbathing and swimming and the jetties and beaches of East Pass offer a special hideaway for kids to explore the un-crowded sand dunes and lakes or to go fishing or snorkeling with Mom or Dad.

Since Destin Pointe is the westernmost beach in Destin, its sunset views across the jetties and ocean are magnificent.  In the late afternoon, there is a stir of anticipation as the pelicans and seagulls head toward the beaches of the pass to prepare for sunset.  The reddening Sun begins its march to the sea over Lake Christina, Lake Caroline, Destin Harbor, East Pass, and the jetties as the seagulls congregate on the pass beach as if to watch for the dolphin along with the sunset cruise boats.  Meanwhile on the rooftop observatory of the Nautilus House, guests experience the breathtaking view of the entire sunset.
